Leagues
- Leagues consists of 30 Teams.
- Six 5 team divisions.
- Each manager will have 3 teams in 3 divisions and 2 teams in 3 divisions.
- AAA Teams will retain their affiliates each year and AA teams will draw affiliates from the opposing manager’s AAA teams.
- AAA and AA draft players from their respective downstairs teams while the Major League will use all players from AAA and AA once drafts have been completed for that year.
- AAA and AA rosters consist of 25 active and 6 cut players (7 for previous year's World Series winner) with one of those players activated for each game and Major Leage teams have 30 players that are all active.
- All leagues will play 174 games.
- There will be 6 division winners and 8 wild card teams in each league.
- Each manager will have a minimum of 5 playoff teams per league.
- World Series winners for AAA and AA get to keep 7 cut players all year for the next season.
- All games should be completed by 10/1. (Optional)
- Playoffs must be completed by Thanksgiving. (Optional)
- Draft is conducted on Black Friday. (Optional)
- Pre-season trades are completed by 12/31. (Optional)
- Trades will be conducted within each league, no trading between leagues. (Preseason?)
- No trades with your own team straight up without the opposing manager's approval, a 3-way involving 2 of your own teams and someone else’s team would be acceptable.
- During trades at the beginning of the season managers may trade up to 2 drafts which will increase the number of cut players to 8(previous WS winner can have 9).
- After the season starts those teams with more than 6 cut players must reduce that number to 6 before being able to draft a player from a downstairs team or trade a draft.
- Active rosters must contain at least 2 players at each position and a minimum of 10 pitchers.
- New ballparks are drawn for each team in AAA and AA at the beginning of the year and at game 81. Major League has randomized rule changes each month.
- A cut player may be activated when there is an injury but there must be at least 10 pitchers and 2 players at each position if possible.
- When a player reaches their at-bats or innings pitched on their card the manager must cut this player and is allowed to activate a cut player or draft from their downstairs Major League AAA team.
- No drafts for played out players or trades after Sept 1 for AAA and AA, Major League has no draft restriction.
- Home team for the playoff games is given to the team with the best record of the two teams playing, division winners playing wild card teams will be the home team regardless of the record.
- Any player that was sent downstairs to an AAA or AA team as cut from the prior year cannot be activated until after the first game of the season.
- The players used in these leagues are from years owned by CSL.
- Downstairs AAA and AA teams consist of players from all years and contain many players at the same position.
- Downstairs AAA and AA teams are refilled with random players when it is deemed that the positions available are getting low.
- Playoff compensation will be as follows:

Team with the best record receives 1 additional selected player.
Non-Playoff Teams: 2 random players go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate - Total – 2 players
Playoff Teams (wild card non WS teams only): 3 random/1 selected players go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate - Total - 4 players
Playoff Teams (division winners non WS teams only):3 random/2 selected players go to that team’s downstairs affiliate - Total - 5 players
World Series Runner-up Team:3 random/2 selected players go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate + 1 selected to 20XX AAA or AA cut Total - 6 players
World Series Champion:3 random/3 selected players go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate + 1 selected to 20XX AAA or AA active (extra cut player) Total - 7 players
Major League
Non-Playoff Teams: 1 random player go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate in AAA and AA - Total - 1 player
Playoff Teams (wild card non WS teams only): 3 random players go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate in AAA and AA - Total - 3 players
Playoff Teams (division winners non WS teams only):3 random/1 selected players go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate in AAA and AA - Total - 4 players
World Series Runner-up Team:3 random/2 selected players go downstairs that team’s downstairs affiliate in AAA and AA - Total - 5 players
World Series Champion:3 random/2 selected players go downstairs to that team’s downstairs affiliate in AAA and AA + 1 selected to 20XX AAA franchise cut Total - 6 players
All Stars AAA and AA
Non-Playoff Teams: 1 random player goes downstairs to AAA or AA and assigned to the last place team affiliate of the teams making up that All Star team for that year - Total- 1 player
All Star Runner-up Team:1 random and 1 select players to go downstairs to AAA or AA and assigned to the last place team affiliate of the teams making up that All Star team - Total- 2 players
All Star Champion:1 random/1 selected players go downstairs to AAA or AA and assigned to the last place team affiliate of the teams making up that All Star team + 1 selected to the last place team of previous year and added to 20XX AAA or AA cut-Total - 3 players
